About RealEstate.IT
RealEstate.IT is the editorial home of an independent group of real-estate technology and information products built in Italy, for Italy, since 2019. We publish in Italian, English and German for three audiences: Italian professionals and investors, international buyers, and the South Tyrolean / DACH market.
What we publish
We are a small editorial team writing about Italian real estate from the inside. Our work falls into three categories.
Buyer’s guides. Long-form, expert-reviewed articles for international buyers considering Italian property — taxes, legal process, residency, financing, regional choice, hidden risks. Each guide is bylined, dated, and reviewed annually by a qualified Italian professional.
Market data. Italian property prices, yields, transaction volumes and regional analysis, drawn from official OMI data (Agenzia delle Entrate) and proprietary local-market sources, refreshed continuously.
The Osservatorio. Our weekly newsletter for professionals, investors and operators following the Italian market — data, deals, policy, analysis. Quarterly we publish a longer-form Osservatorio PDF that has become a reference for the Italian PropTech ecosystem.
How we work
Five principles shape every page we publish.
Independence. We do not sell property listings. We do not take agency commissions. We do not accept paid placement in editorial content. Our recommendations are not influenced by who pays us, because nobody does.
Sourcing. Every number we publish is cited. We use official Italian sources (Agenzia delle Entrate / OMI, ISTAT, Banca d’Italia, Gazzetta Ufficiale) wherever possible, and disclose proprietary or third-party data where used.
Expert review. Tax, legal, immigration and mortgage content is reviewed by a qualified Italian professional in the relevant field — a commercialista, notary, lawyer or licensed broker — whose name and credentials are visible on every page they have reviewed.
Currency. Italian rules change annually with the legge di bilancio. Every cornerstone article carries a visible “last reviewed” date and is re-checked at least annually with the relevant expert.
Transparency. Where commercial relationships exist (group products, affiliate disclosures, sponsored research), they are clearly labelled and never embedded inside editorial content. Our full editorial policy is published at /en/about/editorial-policy.
